In May, we studied frogs, butterflies, flowers, strawberries, and farm animals in Miss Tiffany’s class and Cinco de Mayo, bugs, ponds, vegetable gardens, and flowers in Miss Laura’s class. In the afternoons our themes were graphing, fairytales and folktales, bugs, jungle, and enrichment activities around the book “Splash”.
I hope everyone loved the pictures that came back recently. Jim does an amazing job! Report cards were sent home last week. Please be in touch with us if you have any questions. The Board of Health will be in on Wednesday to give us a lesson on proper hand washing techniques. We will be ending our school year with a bang as we have a beach week and field day festivities in the days to come.
If you are interested in summer camp, please let us know this week. If your child is returning to us next year, please hand in your application with the $55 registration fee to hold his/her spot with your preferred schedule. Forms for both programs are available in the office.
We can’t wait to celebrate this wonderful year with everyone at our Closing Ceremony/Graduation next Thursday evening! Thank you for signing up for refreshments for that evening. Caps and gowns will be given out on Monday and Tuesday of next week for those who are graduating and moving on to Kindergarten so that you can press the gowns and take pictures before our ceremony. Please put the cap and gown on your child when you get to the church and be sure to return the set to us before you leave the church. There will be a sheet to sign when you return the set.
