Happy New Year to our Happy Days Family!

In December we celebrated Kaitlyn, Savannah, Aiden, Campbell, Wyatt, and Quinn’s birthdays.  Brianna, Madison, and Sean Patrick were Miss Laura’s Star Students and made beautiful presentations!  All month we were preparing for winter holiday fun.  We had themes of gingerbread men, reindeer, Santa, and the holidays; all of which were enhanced with literacy, science, social studies, and math components.  We culminated our month with some PJ days as we watched “Ice Age; A Mammoth Christmas Special” and “Little Einsteins; The Christmas Wish” and had some holiday treats.

Thank you so much to the families who supported our fall fundraiser whose proceeds go to all of the enrichment educational and entertainment programming that we do all year. The Wings of Magic Puppet Show came on the 20th. Hope your children enjoyed! And Finn’s mommy came in on the 21st to teach us all about Chanukah. We made a Chanukah menorah in cooking class with her! Our full day students rotated between afternoon weeks of math, language, social studies, and science, with literacy activities mixed in everyday.

In January, our themes of study will be Winter, Snowmen, Martin Luther King, Frozen, and Groundhogs.  Each week there will be a new letter of the week based on our theme. Our afternoon themes will be the New Year (social studies), M is for Mittens (literacy), Polar Animals (Science), Snow (math), and S is for Snow (literacy).

Meridian Health is coming to Happy Days on Monday, January 9th to do a program on safety. To culminate our Frozen theme the week of Jan. 23rd, Elsa and Ana will be coming to entertain us on that Friday the 27th!!

January tuition and Jan./Feb. pizza orders are now due.  Check us out on Facebook!
